I have had the same issue with apple trees, just too much maintenance for a rental property.

He tells me to wait.Whether it's your dad sitting on the sidelines waiting for the next correction or an institutional hedge fund liquidating to cash in anticipation of a buying opportunity, or Apple and Google sitting on, well, googles of cash waiting for the right opportunities.  

I would flag these posts but don’t see an option for doing so through the iOS app which is my primary tool for using this forum.

@James Michael Few, I live in the heart of the Silicon Valley and you’re tech example is comparing apples to oranges.

I still use Aperture from Apple - even though they stopped supporting it 5+ years ago. 

There are a number of local suppliers who inflate their prices and give discounts to contractors, but in the end this is a mental trojan horse game.I think over the long haul using Lowes or HD's "pro" programs coupled with discounts from their CCs or gift cards (from a site like Raise or CardCash) will lead to the lowest costs for a given project comparing apples to apples.
