We have had a couple evictions and I agree that the model is not the best for property owners.

We recently did a sealcoat project at one of our properties and a resident walked across the wet sealcoat.  

Lately, I've started thinking maybe these people are wholesalers or investors that could have properties to sell.

If not, look for a different property.

Next year, I plan to become a rental property real estate investor in Texas, alongside my husband.

Once you have moved out, you no longer will get owner occupied rates!

Total rent between the three is $3200/month.I have an adjustable 20 year mortgage with a balance of $100,000~ at 4.95% that is set to adjust in 2026.I also have a HELOC on that property at $180K~ with a 9.75% rate.
