Word of mouth is always the go-to answer for finding GC's but that's not always readily available.

I guess that's why God gave us two ears, but only one mouth. 

Our first real state venture put a bad taste in her mouth due to a flooded rental market, time and budget constraints, and forced to live 1500 miles from each other and away from the kiddos.

But on another level - having lived through 2008, 2000, 1990 - I know a crash is coming again eventually and I think I have just as much fear of losing it all as someone with $140K instead of $14M.I am no happier than I was when I was a 17 year old undergrad reading about Plato, living in a dirty dorm room and eating stale pizza.

I still remember the one contractor who claimed to be "born again" and attempted to convert me - and literally every other word out of his mouth would be the F word at times, even in front of females ...

Not getting into religion, just the point of people thinking from an ethical stand point before they act or open their mouth.
