I think you should eat the cost of carpet cleaning, unless you gave them the option to get it done first and the expectations of what should be the end result of the cleaning.

It seems most banks are doing repairs like paint, carpet & appliances before listing the properties and pricing accordingly, which really eats into the flipper's profit.

I would question the claims of alot of TurnKey groups as they are often eating up alot of the profit i would think but not sure I have not been a party to those groups in my area.
