My lender seems to have done a little mistake and my father who is co-signing was never told he has to be down here for the signing which was suppose to happen today at 1:00 and it cannot happen without a wet signature from him.

Do lenders or appraisers treat properties with coliving setups differently?

For cash-on-cash evaluation of rental properties, it is critical to identify ALL of  your acquisition costs. 

I would just treat it like a normal deal if the numbers make sense.

Next time I’m in Houston will see if you’re up for Cadillac Bar and Grill if it’s still there.

But they would allow you to get an insurable title policy on the property which makes it much easier to sell.
