Many tenants have so infrequently received their deposits back they consider it a fee so have no incentive to sweep before sliding a heavy piece of furniture or stop sliding if they hear a scratching noise, etc.

When the court renders a decision subsequent to the inevitable challenge, they will likely find that discrimination - economic, emotional, sentimental, "gut instinct", etc. - is still discrimination, whether it is explicitly called out in the Federal or local codes or not.If it's appealed to a Federal court, that court may remind everyone what Federal statutes say about discrimination and how this type of business is expected to be conducted.I liked that example of "the Amazon manager".

@Bryce Hammill My decision would be based on what kind of stove it is, if it is a regular slide in electric range you might be better eating it and just order a stove new yourself and replace it.

As people usually come here to escape bad weather they do look for pool homes (some exceptions are the more urban markets, smaller units, etc).We do employ pool fences as well as sliding door sensors during our pre-onboarding safety check.
