I've gotten into the habit of aways cleaning when I have a spare few minutes while cooking dinner or in the common spaces.

If you don't have Renter's Insurance from a tenant, your insurance company has no one to go after (especially if it's something caused by their doing - i.e. house fire from them cooking, overflowing bathtub, their guest falling, etc).

It took months and finally an expensive plumber bill to convince them that they couldn't cook all the food in my apartment and pour the grease down the drain. 

Like I said I've only been doing this consistently for 6 months so most of my deals are still cooking, but I did 2 of them before that were home runs.

To fellow rehabbers, our company closed on a property in McHenry, most of ours are in Cook and DuPage, so looking for contractors that work in McHenry county, who know how to work with rehabbers.

Unfortunately everyone is cooking the above the line books to get a higher evaluation.

I have not been on a vacation in 2 years, I go out to eat maybe once a month (I cook all my meals), and I drive a 2004 Toyota Corolla.  

There was one Asian male in just 8 people in the study and this one Asian male was a smoker.

I think the passivity nature of the income is great, granted how limited that may be in it's nature, it's really can you still cook if the kitchen is on fire.

Obviously not all PHAs do this for their cities, as its a lot of work and isn't always necessary to achieve the goals of the program, but for instance, Dallas (and I believe Cook County, IL) is currently trying it out.
