I understand that Calgary is at risk of having its housing bubble burst (which could go in my favor) due to falling oil prices and rising unemployment (may also be good to pick up some distressed property owners!)

Currency is in my favor at the moment seeing that I make most of my money in the US, so when I transfer it over to my Canadian accounts, I come out ahead again that could change but for now, it's awesome.other bits of info:*In Canada the total term of your loan is 25 years, not 30 years like the US.

These types of items we pull from the flip will probably just be donated to him in exchange for favorable conditions on the loan he's fronting us for the first few flips.

They might have just stayed past their expiration, or they might have refused to pay rent - and then the Judge ruled in favor of the PM.

After this period of time they are escheated.Most of these properties have a tax bill way over what they are worth, which is why they were never bid on during auction.Is there some sort of mechanism in place to try and negotiate more favorable rates with the local govt?
