I recently read a book called, "Private Mortgage Investing: How to Earn 12% or More on Your Savings, Investments, IRA Accounts and Personal Equity--A Complete Resource Guide with 100s ....Secrets From the Experts Who Do It Every Day" By Matt Tabacchi.  

One book is not going to give you the big “secret” to real estate investing.

Yeah, I don't think it's too much of a secret but it'd be a very big bet for me and not sure if it's a risk worth taking considering the currently low return.

Gurus usually illustrate only the income appraoch, usually incorrectly, because of two reasons in my opinion, one, it justifies their strategy and two, they can't really value a property, Valuation is beyond the scope of there "Secret Strategy".

If 3 or less, but accounts are for ANY utilities (including cell phone service), or minor consumer goods (Wal-mart, Pizza Hut, Victoria's Secret, etc.)

I just purchased two books by Frank Gallinelli - Insider Secrets to Financing.... and What every Investor Needs to Know about Cash Flow...

microsoft's answer to google maps - it's no secret, but i'm finding alot of people don't know about it.www.local.live.com WOW.

I think the secret is to have nicer units or else you will get crappy tennants.
