Ok, I still dont see how this new info or qualifications of prior statements changes the fact that if prices are dictated by supply and demand then it would follow that in the worst recession in recent history that happens to be global, demand should be down.

Now from the looks of the roofline it does come down very low on the sides and I'm thinking my worst case scenario would be to have to tear the roof including trusses and build the walls up another foot or so to make that side comfortable, and put the roof back on.

:wink: put in another offer on a house today. the brand new one. price seemed to be better now than it was before for some reason although i am not sure why. maybe just cause they were worst case scenirio w/no real info. offered $150k with all closing costs paid. its a 1387 s.f. 3/2/2 house never lived in on valencia/alvernon if anyone wants to know.

But then I try to remember that so many people are hurting out there, and while we may not be getting bailouts or principal reductions on our loans -- or any break whatsoever -- we do get the self-respect and strength from knowing we did do it right, did save the reserves to work through hard times, and, at least so far, have lived through the worst economic crisis since the Great Depression with as little stress or hardship as possible to our families.
