I looked at a few local investor club websites to see what they're about, but nothing more yet.

My approach has been and will continue to be a buy and hold strategy spanning core and value added investment approaches.I found BP through Brandon's website Real Estate In Your Twenties (great site Brandon), which I visited while searching for REI book reviews.I'm looking forward to contributing to the community and tapping the wealth of knowledge offered up on the site.Paul

Joshua  Lawrence, when you look at a property on the HUD website. look at the listing period.

Its independent enough it could be considered a 2 unit home.I looked on FHAs website and they said the 203k can be used on a 1,2,3, or 4 unit home.

I have sold some properties on websites run by individual local RealEstate Investors Associations.

Most of them, due to their increased volume of distressed assets, have upgraded their web sites with links to their inventories.

Here is something I've noticed when working with contractors -- the little guys mostly never have a website, let alone advertising except for some quick little Craigslist ad, some don't have business cards, etc.

My website has been outperforming my mailers.
