The only downside to that is as soon as I have that in my name I will no longer be able to get financial aid for school.

. :)But your right you don't have all the folks get on her who do poorly in real estate people just don't talk about it the same.. the closest we have come is the Morris/oceanpointe threads of some really really bad operators it took a lot of guts for those folks to get on BP and say hey I fell for the videos and the freedom number sent in 60k in cash and now all I have is a home never rehabbed and vacant.. although in my personal opinion it more than a civil matter.

After I narrow down my search, I start to pull comps from Zillow recently sold homes that come closest to the property I'm interested in.

I know for $330k I could even get a 3 bedroom in Zama or Tulum 101 which is development closest to the beach.

The closest analogy to what I mean is trading stocks for a living versus buying an actively managed mutual fund and paying a manger to do the research and trading for you for a fee.

Closest might be if you were to look at the actual foreclosure file but that's about it.

Ideally, I'm looking for the group that is 1) closest and 2) free.

He has his own firm and I would say income more than anything has aided in his investing and quality of life.
