This is a very divisive topic; any group taking that approach will be lambasted in the media.Similarly, if the "Horrible, Unconstitutional Toledo Lead Ordinance" is making you angry because you will have to spend money to address peeling paint, I don't have a lot of sympathy for deferred maintenance.

These folks call the cops and file theft charges.Yet somehow someone trying to, frankly, steal occupancy of a rental deserves sympathy? 

We're an easy target as we don't garner any sympathy, aren't organized, won't play well on the news, and the perception is we're all loaded and wiping our asses with $100 bills. 

I was shocked as I expected some kind of sympathy act.  

So keep that in mind - it'll be a short conversation at best if you approach reporters to talk about a problem with a tenant (especially seeing as you are essentially the landlord - there's never much sympathy for the landlord!).

I have no sympathy whatsoever for the people that choose to be homeless so they can live on the public dole, and do drugs.

I'm running a business, not a charity, and my sympathy ends at my wallet.

I have a deep sympathy for all those affected by the virus as well as everyone indirectly.
