I am in contract for a duplex in Grandview where I plan to live in one side and rent out the other

Any advice from others who have taken the glamping plunge? 

The worst thing is to pay for a service where you don't get a benefit.If you have STR's and actively manage them, then there is a good chance that you can treat the propreties as active instead of passive which will allow you to offset the losses with other forms of income such as wages, interest, dividends, gains, etc.

@Allen Zhu -Reading, along with many other eastern Pennsylvania markets are seeing significant growth compared to other areas in the state/ country.

I am looking into other ways to get into this since I have found MHs to fix up but now have no land to put them on.
