I'm not 100% sure about this so I hope others chime in but  I think that the only word you can't use is "Realtor" (unless you are a member) and obviously no matter what you call it, you can't market yourself as an agent or broker unless you are one.I saw that you are in real estate school; your best bet to make sure about those Alabama rules is to ask the instructors in class or an agent/broker that you know.

These properties are located in Gary, IN and you can purchase outright on your own or you can partner with the instructor of the course and he manages everything if you are out of state (or you just hire a property manager).

I am actually looking at where I can do the most good (for me and society) and after about 13 years as a landlord, I think I may now be better as a landlord, turning around properties, selecting tenants, etc than teaching business topics (which a new instructor could take on)..

I think in-person training can be more valuable as you get to participate in conversations with the class and hear anecdotal stories from the instructor, which all help cement important points.

For instance, when I wanted to improve my golf game I went to an instructor, and they were able to point out things I was not aware of and help to focus my time and efforts into productive practice sessions.hope that makes sense and sorry for the long reply..

Gyms have classes with instructors however the people that get the best results have the gym membership, attend the classes, and have a trainer to hold them accountable and work with their individual needs.
