What insurance are you all using for furnished medium term (30 days and more) private room rentals?

If you have a pretty place that's furnished nicely, you can rent to students for more than $1100/bed, which can add up for large, older homes with many bedrooms.

Also, can you keep it furnished? 

I've only used Furnished Finders to vet guests on that platform, and wondered what suggestions anyone has about MTR guests through VRBO.

My question- is it better to furnish as two bedrooms with full size beds or to furnish as a one bedroom with the other room being an office or other kind of flex space.  

Once they are knee-deep in furnishing their property or after posting their property on Airbnb for a few days/week they get hit with a violation notice from their city.  

Hi Jared,For my furnished properties, I personally use Airbnb (and set to 30+ days for minimum rental period) and Zillow.

My other solution would be to furnish the home and turn it into a midterm rental, if you have some reserves.

I'd say your best strategy would be for a furnished rental either listing on Furnished Finder, Airbnb 30+ day stays, VRBO, or some of the other listing sites.
