Don't read my old posts, they are nothing but horror stories about short term rentals.  2 weeks ago the pipes were frozen in my house. 

They are also usually in an air-conditioned space where they are not rained or frozen out and do not have to work at dangerous or difficult heights. 

I had frozen pipes in my house and in order to drink my pre workout coffee I had to use water from the toilet. 

Also mini splits/heat pumps do not put out enough heat if you area receives colder winters which would render them useless and you may end up with frozen pipes.

The tone was, "accept the price or have frozen water pipes before the morning".

I am just not sure how much you can get approved for.Like @Kevin Purvis said, it doesn't hurt to get multiple quotes and from my understanding, once you get one credit check, your score is frozen for a certain amount of time and that allows you to go shop around loans without risk of lowering your score even more.One bank might tell you no way but the other will be happy to work with you.

I'm actively trying to get into law enforcement as well but Covid has had me "frozen" in the process for a year now. 

At least you're not literally frozen like I am over here in Indiana.

After more research last night, I found that the property taxes are frozen due to the charitable status of the current owner.
