thanks for your time and help 1st off, full disclosure here, Rent To Retirement advertises their properties on my Investment Properties For Sale Show, so I am not a totally unbiased opinion and it's only fair that I tell you this up frontHaving said that, outside of running my show for people like them, I also own a property management company in Northeast Ohio and have worked with 1,000's of out of state investors over the years.I say all of that to say this, the overwhelming majority of negative reviews I have seen on them are very similar to a lot of negative experiences investors have with my property management company and others like it that I've worked with.

As a community I think we should focus on helping people who have had their housing situation negatively impacted recover as quickly as possible.

One solution I see some people do is to partner with another investor on a couple of deals where each brings something to the table...more capital, experience, etc.

Property classes are different from neighborhood classes, and many people often use them in combination.

We have several people living in these homes.

This just covers the basics: how many people, do they have pets, what is their timeline for moving?

Are there any local meet ups or websites on where to find more people who have a moderate level of experience meaning they are  somewhat experienced but still looking to collaborate and network with more inexperienced investors like myself.

Which is not easy for possible for many people (like your husband).Once you really know what to do, the risk level drastically reduces.

What the people that I talk to find is that they don't need to be confined to one area.  

When evaluating a property management company, it's important to look beyond just the management fee and consider the full scope of services and costs involved.For example, at our company, we charge a 10% monthly management fee, a $250 lease renewal fee (unless it’s a takeover tenant, which requires additional effort to establish a strong relationship - because usually people are changing pm companies for a reason), and the first month’s rent as a leasing fee.
