Missed opportunities.

There are networking opportunities with the group after these meetings as well but it seemed like mainly people in the program and not experienced capital raisers that are there by design (but I could be wrong).  

Neighborhood revitalization projects, major corporate investments, and an influx of small businesses were all happening at a pace that made it clear the city is on an upward trajectory.From an investor’s perspective, Detroit offers a unique combination of affordability and opportunity.

Research ways to use your education to help you qualify for a loan (did you know that some lenders allow college credits that translate directly to the line of work the graduate pursues to count towards work experience, accelerating the borrower's opportunity to get approved for a mortgage?). 

@Kaaren Hall after seeing your post i called them right away, their fees are extremely high for an HSA that for the most part most people don't have a lot of money in.I max my HSA every year, but if you have a self only plan you can only put about 4k /yr  and if you have some medical bills it's less.they are also very restrictive on taking money out, and no CC to pay the doctor. prior to speaking with them I was extremely excited to see this opportunity you suggested,  but after my conversation I'm no longer...I will look for other options now that I see there may be some, so thanks so much for bringing it up.

While prices have risen, there are still opportunities with the right approach.
