It depends on where you want to position yourself in the market and what makes sense from a business perspective in relation to your overhead / operational costs.

And since I would like to go back to it being a STR when some of my life calms down in a year or 2, it doesn't make tons of sense to get rid of it all and then start again!

@Dustin Horner It does not make sense to make any hires for one 10 unit building, PT or FT.

I would also look at employment/unemployment statistics, and get a good sense of who the biggest employers are in an area. 

If he's only doing bathroom remodels, that would make sense to not bother.

My intention was to rent all three units (main house and two ADU's), but now I'm thinking it might sense to develop the first two properties and then sell them. 

If the trade value of an old shopping mall is less than the build cost of a new storage space or warehouse, then it doesn't make sense to build a new storage space or warehouse, just buy an old shopping center.

But because I genuinely believe in my strategies and share my knowledge to help others, it’s suddenly seen as having ulterior motives.Here’s the thing: explaining yourself to critics only gives them a sense of power they don’t deserve.

I think this will all start making more sense once you start analyzing deals and working with an agent that can provide some insight. 

I guess an appreciation play would be the only thing that makes sense over here.
