As I'm sure most of you know, a long-term rental is simple since the only recurring expense I own is the mortgage, whereas with a STR I'll own the mortgage, internet, utilities, furnishings, cleaning fees, etc. which just makes my projections a bit foggier.I'm looking for feedback on the below expenses and wondering what else I should be thinking about, that I don't currently have listed.

Write the property on the receipt and keep a digital copy and the hard copy.Quickbooks Online is a good software for both receipt capture and organizing what expense goes with which property.

It was very difficult for us to find a bank to refinance the deal and also difficult for us to procure a buyer for the condos we didn't want.The cap rates typically traded higher than a simple ownership interest.
