Generally I get 3-5 year minimum stays.

That said, we have traveled a lot and stayed in wonderful Airbnbs over the years and have always dreamed of creating an incredible experience for someone visiting Minnesota with a short-term rental as well, so we are definitely open to that idea and have some great experience as to what we know would provide an exceptional short-term rental experience. 

For Airbnb, do i allow STR stays for the next three months and then block out the calendar beyond 3 months for MTR stays?

There are a lot of rules when it comes to buying a MH and if one thing is wrong the lender will deny the loan.Mostly pay attention to year built try and stay away from Mobile homes that are older than 20 years. 

From here you could decide if you want to stay on the passive side of things as an LP, or if you want to begin raising capital for your own deals / funds based on your track record of investing with other experienced operators and being part of the masterminds that you're in.

Last year we began testing different places by staying in Carrillo and Junquillal with day trips to a lot of other nearby beaches. 

This could easily cost you $10’s of thousands if you plan to stay in the home 5+ years when you return. 

I decided to stay local with my investing for now and focus on condos/townhomes or live in flips.
