I got tired of the is it legal is it not debate here in Oregon so when I got a mail chimpanzee of a brochure of a home for sale from a wholesaler I sent it to Salem for a determination.. they determined that the wholesaler did not own it.. and was violating the law.. they open an investigation and that wholesaler got a cease and desist and is now licensed.. multiple violations would get turned over to the DOJ or DA for prosecution..

I’ve been investigating DST’s for a long time as I wanted to be more passive.  

My due diligence continues, if anyone has other suggestions to investigate please let me know.

Through my investigation of investors and borrowers, I have found that Peer Street would not communicate with either side or try to force foreclosure or, worse, put borrowers in bankruptcy. 

The reality is that there are closer to 6000 rentals and the potential tax revenue will not be overlooked, especially since the city will need more money for code enforcement and investigations.
