My dream is to move on my first home in 2017, perhaps as an owner-occupied deal.

I always had in mind, that we would move on and rent this one out, but I never looked into the actual cash flow or tax incentives, as it was honestly nothing more than an idea (or dream).

I would really.like to find an investor to help me get started with my dream.

I have several tech friends who quit their cush jobs with dreams that they'd be bought out or become millionaires and I ponder they should stop and go get jobs again (it's been many years now and I don't think they're making enough to really live on).

Any guidance on finding the right professionals (lawyers, accountants, agents, inspectors, appraisers, etc.) to board your "dream team" to accompany you as well?

Then you have extra land to either sell to builders or even individuals who want to build their dream home in the city.

I have always had a vague dream of becoming a real estate agent and buying multi-family properties to renovate and rent out but as usual this was a "later in life" idea.
