The good news is that rents are continuing to rise along with prices, so things are still making sense for investors. 

I would suggest you find several members of BP that you have enjoyed reading their biographies or their threads and continue to research posts by those individuals.

I'll continue to rent where I am not because commuting over an 2 hours to work every day doesn't make sense to me.

At that point I would probably say I changed my mind and continue with the eviction hearing.

When I come across these properties, it usually means the estate has decided to rent the property and continue to let the property appreciate.
