If you have to buy furniture put that in your calculation for short term rental cost to see if it makes financial sense.

All of the apartments are Furnished with Antique furniture.  

Of course there will be added expenses of buying a new home-furniture, etc.

Doorway openings can be very narrow (I have one where tenant could not get his big bulky sofa in, and where I had to remove the door AND door stop wood to user barely squeeze in a washer and dryer).

She is saving what looks to be total trash, furniture that has sat out in the rain for more than a year, scrap metal...crazy.

But then I was just thinking about leaving it empty, then negotiating the "rental" of all the furniture, which I would buy, if they want it.

If you aren't tied to the furniture, you could also see if a company would do an estate sale. 

They still have furniture in the suite, although they did disconnect power.
