Remember location is key, especially if you want to attract solid tenants into the future.Also, if I remember correctly it's a probate property with a special remark that the sale is contingent on settling outstanding liens....depending on the lien amount, the actual cost of acquiring the property may be much more than the list price (plus the time needed to get it out of probate).Thanks,Shonda

If you cancel a card that has been paid down, you are just lowering your overall limit, so this would not be good (except maybe if you don't owe on any other debts - unlikely).One thing that I hear has been happening is that folks are having their credit card limit lowered, while they have an outstanding balance, and then that balance with respect to the new limit exceeds 50% of available creidt.
