"Extended stay" hotels came into existence to serve this market need.When I first arrived to Pensacola, I stayed at a 2-star motel for $X a night and reserved the room one or two nights at a time (my apartment move-in date kept getting rescheduled as its upgrade schedule kept slipping).

Being able to monitor/review cleans remotely was a huge thing for us (made it worth the fee), but the inventory tracking feature they've added has been an amazing addition to our workflow.I am surprised by how many guests actually use the checkout notification, but it's also been great for us and has even helped "convert" a few would-be 3 Star ratings into 5 Star ratings.If you have a fantastic cleaner who will be with you forever and you can trust to handle everything you need then don't sweat it, just use a shared calendar and some texts/emails.

Amazon has both books ranked with 5-star reviews from 87% and 85% of purchasers respectively, so it's not a question of 'which book is better', I don't believe.

I have owned 3 brokerages over the years.. and 10% of the agents make 70% of the commissions.. there will always be some stars making 500k to 1mil a year .. but those folks would make that kind of money in any business they try they are simply motivated excellent sales folks and top producers. but i did a pod cast and i am a broker  LOL
