Making the leap from my service business to real estate was a much bigger risk and bigger gamble for me than it would be for you at 19 to make a leap to Real Estate. 

That's gambling IMO.

But my point is that the vast area included by Houston has submarkets that likely have very different characteristics in terms of rentals.

I would like to know if anyone knows of any tax lein sites that list the characteristics about the different states.

If you don't, it's almost akin to gambling - your potential risks spiral out of control.I've always treated turnkey acquisition as just another source of deals.

Do not expect them to care about appearances, upkeep, damage to the property etc.Obviously these characteristics are not 100% all the time but expect them just the same.

Also, your comments on Section 8 tenants and the eviction process emphasize the importance of effective property management and tenant screening.While Baltimore may present challenges, it's crucial to remember that every market has its unique characteristics and risks.

It has just depended on the characteristics of each deal.
