Yes, if it was obvious those occupancy limits were designed to discriminate against a protected class, and you/your property was subject to fair housing laws.

I had many issues like that and since I keep good records of lien releases, I would just email them a copy of the release and they are like : "Oops.. we should have seen it in public records but now that we have book and page number we are good to go"...

Hello Nathan,  to protect yourself as a lender in an owner finance transaction, you should use an RMLO to disclose the loan terms to your buyer and verify their ability to repay the loan.
