My preliminary research shows that a basement conversion is the way this is done over there, but I was really hoping to not have to share walls with a tenant, more for their sake than mine since I have dogs, but if that's the temporary cost of attaining financial freedom, I suppose I can live with it, though I may come back posting asking for a sound proofing contractor some day lol

If I lived there, I would probably put a dock in vs sitting at a muddy shore, but for a rental, I doubt it would bring in one more cent rent and insurance would probably go up.I see 5 covered spaces, Ideally each unit would have 2 spaces for renters cars and an extra space for overflow.I also see in the insualtion pic, concrete spalling.
