Given the square footage, if a relevant rezone was possible, sounds like a fantastic deal.Lawyers, accountants, massage therapists and other health professionals, etc. are often looking for these types of spaces IMO, and at that price point you could be very aggressive with rents.

The difference is that the sub-groups are generally run by volunteer members of the REIA, not the management of the REIA (there's not much money in sub-groups, so why bother :).Btw, for anyone in the Baltimore/Washington area, there is a fantastic (and free) Meetup group (BWI Meetup) that is better than any REIA I've ever been to.

Your handyman may be very trustworthy and fantastic, but I would make sure that you have a solid background screening of him on file in case something were to happen, you could show that you had made a diligent effort before handing over keys to someone.Put all agreements in writing.
