Then the expenses come in for soil samples, engineering and complaince with local governments (poitical).

Get it looked at by an engineer, you will find out if you need to repair it.

I would pay an engineer a few hundred bucks to give you a recommendation on how to fix the problem then go to a contractor with your recommendation and get a price.

I see these on Title reports as a Civil Engineer for commercial properties.It's just saying that if you default, in order to prevent you from skimming the rent and not paying the loan they are authorized to collect the rents in the mean time.

In the old days, when I had a 9-5, any time we quoted on an Engineering job the quotes were extremely detailed, & for that very reason we found that in many cases it also got you the job.
