I am one of those guys who didn't do the homework and bought without setting foot in the city or seeing much of the property...although I will say that the real estate agent gave us a live video tour of the place and we liked what we saw.

Agree with the full application for anyone over 18 living there.To answer Michael's first question - you can do the in-person interview at the same time that these applicants visit and tour your rental unit.

I asked them for 1) Rent rolls and agreements 2) Historical costs and maintenance expenses 3) Additional pictures of the property (only one exterior photo was provided) The agent wrote back and said that none of these were available and the seller would only tour after a serious offer, but the tenants had lived in the fourplex for 10 years (probably bs).
