I have some questions regarding Canadian real estate, specifically, Ontario based real estate. 

As small business owners, we prefer a broader view.For a number of economic factors, that have nothing to do with sequestration or the wishful dreams of an inventory flood, we see continued uncertainty in the lending and real estate markets as well as in banking and the global economy.

A very common window style in Europe, but still rare here in North America, though a few Canadian and U.S.A. fenestration companies have started to produce them.The tilt-in-turn offers an additional benefit that you do not have to be worried about obstructions in the window well (leaves, snow, etc.) preventing the window from opening in the event of an emergency.

So lately I have been structuring private money deals where my business entity purchases property with a loan from canadian investors, now these investors have an 8-12% annual return on an investment under 50k with with DCR of over 1.5 secured by real estate. 

I have Canadian citizenship and I plan to retire on the Canadian west coast.

@Charles Heyligen  Depending on credit quality, debt service coverage, global debt service coverage, net worth, size of loan you can get 25 year pretty easily and maybe even 30 year if it falls into agency debt ( Fannie Mae/Freddie Mac). 

maybe you should; most serious investors nowadays are global and look everywhere in the world where it makes sense; and interest rates / cost of money is a major determinant for them.

To give a more complete representation of Reality, you can also address the question at the level of the local real estate market, global economic trends, your personal financial situation, and the emotional impact that buying the property is likely to have on your spouse.
