Jason Tilley, 37, is facing charges of first-degree intentional homicide and possession of a firearm as a felon after he allegedly shot his landlord in the head allegedly over a $30 rent increase.According to a criminal complaint filed Wednesday, March 7, Tilley met with his landlord March 1.

My biggest challenge was getting keys to the places (I had to break into one of the homes when I took possession - it was a holiday weekend and it is in a small town with no locksmiths available).

The cop said that there was enough there to be charged with intent to distribute, but he's only being charged with possession.

Suing for possession(eviction) is about $300-$500 here. 

I would like to get possession somehow, advance payments on the owners behalf until the insurance settlement comes in then pay off the loan.Any suggestions as to how you might approach a deal on this?

However, he has was found guilty of a felony, burglary (no possession of a weapon), in 2009.

Now waiting for the Sheriff to serve the Writ of Possession and it looks like in Miami it takes forever BUT I know we will have our property back soon!

I have no lease from the seller, no idea what condition the interior of the property is in, and no idea really about what type of control I will have over this tenant once I take possession (Can I raise her rent, can I have her removed, etc.). 

Since the banks don't know what's there, the buyer hasn't taken possession and it's technically not theirs, the contract does not say what's included, they have to eat the loss.Have any of you ran across this sort of stuff?
