Do you boycott everything electronic because one of its founding inventors was a racist ("the fruit of the poisonous tree")?

I want an all new kitchen from soup to nuts, new bathroom, new hardwoods in living room and dining room, refinish original hardwoods in 2 bedrooms, paint, replace wood paneling in 2 rooms with sheetrock/mud/tape/paint, make 2 existing doorways a little larger, frame half of basement/drywall/outlets/carpet.2.

My ROI would have been horrible, but I could have conceivably covered the nut. 

I thought he was nuts, but I guess he’s doing OK.

Not saying you are, just saying it is fruit for thought.There is also more then 1 way to skin a cat, say if they wont lend for the purchase and that is what you are seeking, how about using HM for bridge financing, rehab and rent or C4D, then seek lending on the owned property?

I would never buy more than 20 minutes away but I enjoy when others do because its low hanging fruit when they want out.Just today, a call came about a fridge that wasn't cooling.

They always look at me as if I'm nuts for suggesting that they actually do something productive.

Some things I do myself depending on timing like; flooring, painting, drywall.I'm a spreadsheet nut, the main thing is return on cash, for me anyway, COC.

I'm really concerned because the other guy there will probably take off if the nut job isn't out very soon.

While none of them we're familiar with a Wholesale transaction, once explained I found one company that was all for it and the rest that thought I was a nut job.
