Yes... but probably not by more than $5-10k, and I think it's more likely that making a more conservative offer initially would have led to more competition and ultimately paying more or someone else getting it.

I know the post is a year old, but maybe it will help someone.Many factors led me to want to buy.  

On a deal with Roofstock that ultimately fell through I had Roofstock send the disclosures back to the seller several times until every question was responded to, which ultimately led to the revelation of prior water intrusion into the basement that they had claimed to have resolved. 

But during the course of the webinar they keep using the words "joining" hooking up with" "education" which all led me to believe they are one of those multi-thousand dollar gurus.

I have a rental in Hillsborough Cty FL that supposedly led the country in increased rents (24%).

And since we were the money we had the biggest risk so I dug in and built myself out of them first project I got my money back barely but that education on the job has led me to built 6 subdivisions from start to finish in the last 10 years and about 30 infills in Charleston SC from 500k to 2.5 mil each and my current project in Oregon of 90 homes from 700k to 1 mil.
