If an agent tries to bully you into making offers you're uncomfortable with, find a new agent.  

I routinely drop 5 to 10 pounds turning around a unit, especially on a big summer paint job....it is like real estate Cross Fit or something, all kinds of lifting, bending, etc...welcome...

When you feel uncertainty it helps to first acknowledge that you can not control the outcome personally then transfer the responsibility of the outcome to an outside power (God, karma, the universe, etc) The ability to handle uncertainty without being uncomfortable is one of the biggest factors in business success.

We did not check for open orders from the city prior to closing, but we called the city when we took over and they made it just seem like it was a routine house in need of repair.

We routinely see a home that rents for $1300+ go for 1150-1200 in the winter and take longer to get a tenant at the lower rate.

Same routine as a bank if they are actually foreclosing.

I understand what you mean about being uncomfortable when it comes to talking to the property owner and steps beyond that.

Is this really something that you want to deal with routinely?
