I believe any problem that presents in life is a simple stand-in for deeper issues - issues that are often so enmeshed into one's own personality that their (eventual) resolution (aka transformation) requires a disintegration of self (literally, a dis-integration), and a subsequent rebuilding of the self.

Look up the company with the department of real estate, send a certified letter, regular first class letter and email message of your complaint and what you want as a resolution and time frame to refund your money to the broker of record probably 30 days would be good.
