There are a few up and coming areas that would be good to invest in sobro (south broad ripple), fountain square, Irvington, beech grove, speedway, and fort Ben on the east side if you can find the right deals.

Just bought one about a mile south of Fountain Square. 

Hi Nitesh,The Fountain Square area of Indianapolis has been a hot over the past decade; however, as prices have increased it’s pushed the market a bit North of there into an area referred to as Near Eastside.

I do remember some real nice outdoor mall/theater with water fountains in Huntsville I went to lol.

@Jay Hinrichs the lien is significantly higher than the value of the property, but the property is in Fountain Square, so as you know there's a lot of fix and flip upside there.

IMO, every potential real estate investor should familiarize themselves with a basic knowledge of1. real estate principles2. real estate law3. real estate financeThe easiest way I know of to accomplish this at least to obtain a pretty good fountain is to take the real estate licensing course.
