@Christine JohannsCongrats on a successful 2018 purchasing 3 properties.You will be required to file a NJ resident return since you live within the state.You will likely also be required to file a non-resident state return with Michigan.NJ does suck that it is a "gross income" state meaning that it only factors positive numbers when calculating NJ SSI.
