there isn't really double taxation in real estate, that typically refers to when a corp pays biz taxes, then pays dividends to shareholders who then pay taxes on their personal tax return.my understanding is that whenever you do sell, you pay cap gains on the first and second property, but the math is really weird as far as exactly how that is calculated.
