Housing is a very important bill for many families to pay, but it still comes behind food.  

They can ask you to serve notice so one unit (or both) are vacant at the time of possession, but if you agree to that make sure you have a large deposit and some of that is not refundable if the buyer backs out as you will need it to cover the lost rent.

We’ve served 3k owners and 5k renters, yet we only have about 120 negative reviews--about 80% of which are from tenants.

If I were to buy anything once my reserves are where I want them, it would be gold to hedge against inflation, which we are already seeing in food.

Perhaps PREIT would've been better served waiting for some tenant commitments before branding the mall the Fashion District.

That at least serves notice and gets the clock moving. 

Managing flips or Airbnbs is a very hands-on experience, while investing in syndications or serving as a passive partner is much less so.

This strategy has served me well for all my purchases.

In my state, the new landlord is required by law to serve a change of landlord notice within 15 days of assuming ownership.
