Hopefully he finishes this rehab in February as I hope to have him set up an out of town, large (over 3000’) luxury STR in the spring.When he completes that effort, we will be concentrating on getting him a property in San Diego which as everyone knows is very expensive.  

You could setup something where the fees are deferred until you secure the construction loan and then pay them 1.5-2x their standard fee if they waited the 6-18 months to get paid.

you need a team, and the best way to set up a team and look at properties is in person.

Once the initial setup is finished, how often do you visit?

If you are new, beware of scammers requesting a video so they can set up a duplicate fake listing. 

We have a duplex with an extra flagpole lot that we are hoping to set up with an ADU for short term rentals.
