I can speak from experience as a student at Texas A&M, I lived in a 5 br/5 b house and I knew plenty of other students who lived in similar houses or "Ag Shacks" if you will.

I have so many questions though.1) Can anyone tell me more about series LLC and whether it's necessary to hold each property in a separate LLC2) What are your thoughts on a trust, rather than an LLC - advantages, disadvantages etc?

If you’d like to offer more flexibility, consider keeping extra supplies in a locked closet and making them available upon request.

You invest in something else, for example in a more profitable place, and the you use the proceeds of the investment to buy a property in Costa Rica when you retire.

Instead of living in an RV, I would look into house hacking in a cheaper state and starting your real estate investing journey there! 

I’m also in Raleigh and will be looking to invest in a property soon.  

Hey @Grant Woodward, you can never be too cautious when it comes to guest safety like @Lauren Kormylo said.There are dozens of things at your STR that could cause an injury or worse so making sure all the ducks are in a row and quackin' in unison is one of the most important things you can do.Like @John Underwood said, make sure you have a rock solid insurance policy that covers the pool and adjoining areas.

They may sell in a few years when interest rates drop or keep it longer term as cash flow on the property improves!

I'm in Miami and want to invest in a cheaper market where my money will go a longer way and so I can cash flow better.
