If you choose not to show up, he would almost certainly be awarded a judgement.Of course, you could choose not to pay the judgement, but then he can send it to a collections agency and your credit score will be trashed.I don't see a scenario here where you get through this cleanly.

The problems with the project mostly stemmed from the crawl space work, which required shoring, replacing structural members, leveling floors and insulation. 

It was built in 2002, and I renovated the entire flooring by removing the original tile and putting Vinyl flooring in, there is no carpet within the house.

Add on rollers, tape, floor coverings, etc and it could easily be $300+ in supplies. 

You still have flooring, cabinets, bathrooms, plumbing, insulation, paint, etc, so all that cost remains the same it would seem. 

This could free up more cash flow to reinvest in your deals.But here’s where it gets interesting: making the transition to an S-Corp can require a more organized financial structure, which includes separating your accounts, keeping clean records, and being prepared to pay yourself a reasonable salary as the business owner.
