Primary residence mortgages require you sign documents stating it will be your primary residence and you'll live there at least a year.

Having agreed upon SOVs, payment schedules, retainage, design documents, and well written contracts really take a lot of the "unknowns or potential problems" out of the process.

I have a clause in my lease that states all parties are aware that if the entire rent is not paid all of those on the lease are named on the court documents.
