For now, I'm focusing on wholesale to help save up money to fund my first flip.From the research I have done I've pretty much come to the conclusion that I need to start my business or form a LLC (of course for a name, website, flyers, etc.) and to start putting in crazy amounts of leg work like driving for dollars and getting some leads together and started up in order to put together a profile to find potential cash buyers..Is there any advice you could give me that would help out with the beginning stages of starting up my wholesale business?

I have a friend living in NYS. I live in NC. We are talking about buying rental property together in NYS. What is the best way to buy property together? Form an LLC?

The whole point of these type of  deals is for someone who wants to live in the 3br 2ba luxurious duplex while amortizing a larger mortgage and owning land outright vs condo association while paying less out of pocket then the comparable sq ft condo costs after assessments, etc.That top unit duplex pro-forma we figured $2750 w free parking spot.

I would love to get as much feedback from the experts as possible to form a realistic strategy going forward.

It might be possible to form a new company and have the loan in the name of the business, but the bank will likely want a personal guarantee anyway.

@Jake Mires I am not sure if you are planning to buy with cash, form a company that does the buying, or one of your member's buys each house using conventional financing for the best leveraging. 

You can not form a partnership in owning the property with this loan product.
