For example, in California, the law (California Civil Code 1950.5) says landlords CAN charge a “reasonable hourly rate” for their labor. 

Thanks Wayne - one would think any title co could or would, but I had the title company who pulled the title originally state they can't confirm anything, as they wouldn't' want to open themselves up to litigation if it turned out my fiance was indeed NOT on the title.

That being said, however, and unfortunately, I am interested in pursuing a more litigation based career path.

Attorneys are out to find the money they can win through litigation for both their clients and themselves.

However, housing WHERE you want it, HOW you want it, and at a price YOU want to pay, well that's goes far beyond a "right".There have been many many solutions presented to improve housing affordability, like revamping our asinine building codes, reducing the cost of litigation, rewriting insanely punitive legislation such as the CRLTO, providing tax credits or reducing taxes, and increasing subsidies while reducing the red-tape associated with using those subsidies.

  - I clearly was denied my right to fix the issues with the apartment as stated in Cal Civil Code 1950.5 What legal recourse do I have here?      

Jay Ballman - It’s a civil matter.

But I want to be squeaky clean also if we have to prove that our LLC finances are separate from our personal affairs in instance of litigation.   

I have not fond much negative press or litigation vs. ePipe.
